Jerry MacKenzie established Gerald MacKenzie General Contractor in 1979 as a sole proprietorship in the carpentry and remodeling business.
In 1986, he bought a 1970 International Hough and began helping to move snow during the winter.
In 1988, Gerald MacKenzie became incorporated. The company continued to add trucks and other equipment, expanding its services. Some of the services that we now provide are paving,
excavation, sewer and water line repairs, sweeping, road grading, snow plowing, and sanding, to name a few.
Our company now employs an experienced, knowledgeable and professional crew. Many have been with the company for ten years or more. They are treated fairly, covered by insurance, and all state and federal tax liabilities are met. Our office staff is also friendly, knowledgeable, and capable of meeting all our clients needs. We take pride in the fact that we are a year round contractor, providing quality service at competitive rates, professional workmanship, and a high standard for safety and quality.
